Our favourite budger supermarket chain ALDI has brought a pizza vending machine thats making history in the culinary land!
How does the vending machine work?
You can get a restaurant-quality pizza in 2-minutes! It has a glass front that allows customers to watch the pizza being cooked and packaged. The robot pizza maker has the capacity to cook 450 pizzas a day, which is about 17 pizzas an hour. Flying cars would impress me less..
How much does the Pizza cost?
From what we know, the vending machine has 3-4 pizzas to choose from and are currently going for $8.99 each.
Where can I find the Pizza Vending Machine?
ALDI has collaborated with Placer Robotics to start rolling these out, you'll be able to find the first one at the ALDI Corner store in North Sydney just a short stroll from the beloved Special Buys middle aisle

Our custom oven, which reaches temperatures as high as a wood-fired oven with digital precision, guarantees the perfect crispness, taste and look of each slice, every time.”

With their contemporary format and focus on the highest quality, local ingredients at an affordable price, it was clear from the beginning that the ALDI Corner Store was our ideal collaborator to launch Pizzabot in Australia,” continued Matt Lipski.
ALDI has not released any information on whether they are going to release more pizza bots. However, I just don't see this failing for a magnitude of reasons so fingers crossed they'll pop up in ALDI's near you very soon!
