You Can Now Get A Sofa That Looks Like A Loaf Of Bread

Yep, you read that right!

Are you guilty of getting crumbs stuck between your sofa cushions when you’re eating? Eh, well IKEA has taken this reality a step further by designing a sofa that’s actually made out of bread…

Ok, so let’s break down what’s going on here as we’re just as confused as you are. Tommy Cash has pitched the idea of a sofa that is literally made out of bread rolls to IKEA, which is amazingly named the “Loafa.”

In an Instagram post that showed the mockups, he claimed that he was in talks with IKEA to get the Loafa made and put into stores. Unfortunately, representatives from IKEA have confirmed that the Loafa isn’t actually going to be a thing but we can only dream.

However, the Loafa in the mockup images actually does exist and was created and shared by Canadian artist Gab Bois, who made it out of real brioche hamburger buns.

While it may not actually be coming to a store near you anytime soon, we have to agree that this is a genius invention and we’d love to lounge around on one soon.
