Servo Worker Shares Tip On How To Save 13c Per Litre On Fuel
If the petrol prices are burning your wallet, then this hack can save you some extra cash!
A servo employee has shared how Woolies customers can save 13c+ per litre of petrol when they fill up at their local EG servo.
First lockdowns didn't let us go out, and now petrol prices are like NO you still have to stay home because driving is not something you can afford anymore.
However, my favourite thing in the world is to find hacks to save money, and it's no secret that cashback, coupons and smart shopping are some of the best ways to save money - and honestly, right now there is no better hack than a way to save money on fuel that seeling at the price of GOLD!
How do you get 13c off on petrol?
There are a few ways you could save money on fuel:
If you spend $5 at the servo you can get an extra 4c off your fuel
If you download the EG fuel app, you can get an extra 5c off per litre
Also, take your Woolies receipt to the servo with you, which gives you four cents off a litre
Considering the ridiculous spike in prices of fuel any amount of saving is worth it! The Woolies and EG rewards can only be applied at the EG and Caltex-Woolworths locations, but they are everywhere, so they should be easy to access!
However, fret not, you can also get similar savings at Coles fuel stations. You can get 14c off per litre on fuel - if you spend $20 in-store, you get 10c-a-litre off & then with the 4c-a-litre from shopping in Coles, you end up getting 14c-a-litre. On average, this can save you up to $20 a month, which means you can get "free" groceries that's worth $20 - toilet paper and milk perhaps?
That’s not the only way you can save money, these 8 ways can help you save up to $7k per year (and no you don’t need to be making heaps of money to have those kinds of savings!). Plus, if you’re eating a lot of fast food just changing the way you order can save you heaps!
