Here's Everything Coming To Netflix Australia in October

It’s a big month for our old iso-friend Netflix.

The only constantly good thing in 2020 has been the bangers that Netflix has been releasing month on month, and October is no exception. Here are our top picks.

Netflix Movie

The Trial of the Chicago 7 (16/10/2020)

Academy Award winner Aaron Sorkin who brought us A Few Good Men, The Social Network, Moneyball is returning to our screen with The Trial of the Chicago 7. Based on a true story, seven defendants - Abbie Hoffman, Jerry Rubin, David Dellinger, Tom Hayden, Rennie Davis, John Froines, and Lee Weiner were charged by the federal government with conspiracy, inciting to riot, and other charges related to anti-Vietnam War and countercultural protests that took place in Chicago. We don’t know what we’re more excited about the star-studded cast or the adaptation of a true story of social unrest.

Hubie Halloween (7/10/2020)

A light-hearted halloween comedy sees the town weirdo Salem, fighting monsters and protecting his town from them. Who doesn’t love a good Adam Sandler comedy?

Emily In Paris (2/10/2020)

If you’ve been craving a new rom-com watch, creator of Sex and the City, Darren Star brings us Emily In Paris. Emily lands her dream job in Paris and the show follows her life as she adjusts to her new life in the City of Lights. Definitely giving us Devils Wears Prade vibes, and we love it.

Social Distance (15/10/2020)

Social distance is going to feel very real and relatable, this anthropology series that tells the story of the power of the human spirit in the face of uncertainty and isolation. It’s going to be interesting to watch because the whole show is taken from a virtual lens and the cast is made up of real relationships they have with other actors in their life.

David Attenborough: A Life on Our Planet (4/10/2020)

David Attenborough’s nature documentaries never disappoint, so we’re sure this one is going to be brilliant and who knows, we may even learn a thing or two from it.

BLACKPINK: Light Up the Sky (14/10/2020)

All k-pop fans rejoice, this documentary is going to be all about Blackpink's personal journey and challenges they have had to face during their astronomical record-breaking global success.
