This year Menulog hopped on the "wrap-up" train and launched Menulogies where users voted on their best takeaways in various categories, and let's just say Menulog definitely got creative with the categories!
We all have to admit takeaway food has been a solus for all of us during the dreaded lockdowns, so Menulog has released stats to show just how much and which takeaway order has been a top choice.
Categories included a "Best Munchies To Order At 4:20pm" and "Beast meal after being dumped" and more generic categories like the "To takeaway order of 2021"
Menulog quoted " “Our data shows there’s a meal and dish for every occasion, or life event that was thrown our way. Aussies love for food is unrivalled and it’s been both interesting and hilarious to see the trends over the last year, from dependable dishes to the must-have meals.” I mean, where is the lie?
So the burning question is, what was the best food to have if you’ve been dumped? according to the Menulogies is seems to be fish & chips, and if you live in Victoria then specifically the “Dinner for one” from Loz's Fish 'n' Chips in Sunbury, Victoria. If you’ve recently been dumped, then maybe order yourself some fish and chips. When has fish and chips ever failed in putting us in a better mood right?’
