This New Netflix Feature Will Make Binge-Watching So Much Easier
Netflix is trialling a new feature that takes the shame away from binge-watching.
Are you still watching? Ummm YES NETFLIX, what do you think I’ve had stuff to do for the past 6 months?!
We all know the shame. The only reason we’ve left out bed for the whole day is to use the loo or to get more food and cups of tea. We’re on episode 8 of Emily In Paris and we only started watching it this morning. Then it happens… “Are you still watching?” The greatest shame from Netflix, that pretty much reads as “shouldn’t you go outside and get some exercise, bud?”.
Of course, I am.
The feature was originally made as a way to make sure you don’t end up sleep-watching a whole series of Bojack and wake up to the finale, however recently it has just felt like a little bit of a dig tbh.
During a global pandemic where there’s not much else to do other than binge-watch all your favourite shows over and over, Netflix is trialling a new idea where you can turn this feature off!
The new feature lets people “play without asking” if they want they want to turn it off halfway through watching a series.
So now Netflix will offer you 3 options - “Ask Again Later”, “Play Without Asking Again” and “I’m Done”.
I, for one, cannot wait.
