Karate Kid is one of the best martial arts movie ever made and finally has a sequel to explain what happens next.
If you haven’t watched it already, Cobra Kai is a spin-off from the original 1984 Karate Kid movie. Cobra Kai tells the story of what happens after the fight where Jonny Lawrence was brutally defeated in the movie.
The series is set 30 years in the future, where Daniel LaRusso is living his best life as a family man who runs a successful string of car dealerships and overall doing pretty well for himself.
However, time was not Lawrence’s friend who was making ends meet as a part-time handyman. However, things turn-around for Lawrence when he protects a young teenager from a group of teenage bullies and agrees to become the young kid’s sensei. How good does this plot sound already?
Originally launched on Youtube, the series has been a hit and has since moved to Netflix. Fans of the show have taken to Twitter to praise the quality content and definitely love the fact that they have got the original cast on board. Also, who doesn’t love random karate breaks in a corridor, kitchen or literally anywhere!
