Palawan In The Philippines Has Just Been Named Best Island In The World

We may not be able to travel now, but we can plan for trips that we can take in 2021.

Every year Travel + Leisure have their subscribers send in their top-picks for their favourite islands, spas, cruises, airlines amongst many others. This year when they released their World’s Best Awards, Palawan took the prize of being the best island in the world with an impressive score of 94.83 out of 100!

The island boasts crystal clear waters that are perfect for scuba diving and snorkelling, has limestone cliffs and mountains, and mesmerising white sandy beaches. Paradise is a real place; Palawan is paradise.

However, since nothing good comes easy, reaching this island is a challenge from many parts of the world, but an island like Palawan is definitely worth it. The Travel + Leisure’s World’s Best Island award is a testament to that.
