Krispy Kreme’s Latest Collab Is Going Viral

Didn’t know I needed Pokémon doughnuts in my life, but here we are. Specifically, Pickachu and Charmander’s flavours are the show-stoppers in my opinion.

There are 5 different flavours and I tried them all, for research purposes of course

1. The Poké Ball

Have to give it to Krispy Kreme, their icing is absolute class, but then again when have they ever been disappointed? The Poké Ball is a crowd-pleaser, its base is the Krispy Kreme’s original glazed topped with the cutest Poké ball and red sprinkles. Sometimes simple is best!

2. The Squirtle

Squirtle is the only jam-filled doughnut from this collection, it’s messy, delicious goodness is probably the most satisfying one out of the lot. It’s topped with baby blue icing and a Squirtle head that’s smiling right at ya!

3. The Bulbasaur

For Bulbasaur, they mixed up the icing style with a creme apple paired with green apple icing and sand sugar. It doesn’t have a filling but it’s still packed with flavour!

4. The Charmander

I struggled to eat this one because of Charmander’s adorable eyes staring into my soul. However, the delicious flavour was too good to put down, especially if you’re a custard fan. Charmander has a custard filling and a bright orange white truffle icing which definitely makes it stand out.

5. The Pickachu

Ah, the most popular Pokémon was rightfully given the most popular flavour - chocolate! This is a decadent one, with a chocolate crème filling + dipped in white truffle. You can imagine why they’ve just been flying off the shelf.

So if you’re looking for your personal treat this week, get your Pokémon doughnuts - you won’t regret it!
