1. Nigella Lawson’s Spaghetti

If you’re a lover of Vegemite, Nigella’s infamous spaghetti recipe is a must-try. She originally uses Marmite, but let’s be honest your only doing the recipe a favour by replacing it with Vegemite.

2. Vegemite Stock

If you’ve run out of veggie stock or don’t have enough, try mixing a tablespoon of vegemite to a couple of cups boiling water. It gives you the same salty deliciousness. It brings lots of flavour and depth to for soups, casseroles and even meat dishes.

Malaysian chicken bites with Vegemite is the Aussie twist you didn’t know you needed. Vegemite’s umami flavour goes so well with the flavours of sweet soy sauce and oyster sauce.
