The lack of available staff in the hospitality sector has sky-rocketed nudging business owners to entice more job applications with a fatter, juicier salary and this cafe called The Good Cartel understood the assignment. 

What is the job?

The Good Cartel recently posted a job advert that stated they have "a reputation for retaining excellent staff who receive excellent pay." Based in Broome, Western Australia The Good Cartel has advertised 6 open positions for Baristas.

The Good Cartel has advertised full-time opportunities open for 6 new Baristas. 

What do you have to do? 

Apart from actually knowing your way around a coffee machine, you will be required to work 47 hours over five days, including the weekend or if you didn’t want to work on the weekends, they could negotiate a slightly lower salary.

What is the pay?

If you choose the first option they are offering 92k + super per year, however, if you choose to not work on weekends they are still offering a very fat salary of 83k + super per year.

If the barista life isn't for you, then they also have openings in the kitchen team where you're being offered a yearly salary of $112,464, however, you would have to work 55 hour weeks, including weekends.

Honestly, if you've been considering a gap year or want more experience in the hospitality industry, this is a good time to pursue it. You will have to work harder but your pay will reflect that so dont worry!
