Instagram Competition Terms & Conditions

  1. No purchase necessary to enter the competition.

  2. This competition is open to students of Australia only, aged 18 years or over.

  3. Employees of the Promoter, its parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates or other parties in any way involved in the development, production, or distribution of this competition, as well as the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings, children) and household members of each such employee and/or authors, are not eligible to participate in the Promotion.

  4. Entrants must have their own active and personal Instagram account.

  5. Entrants remain subject to the Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter terms and conditions.

  6. Date and Time - This competition will commence at 12:00 AEST on 29/6/20 and all entries must be received by 12:00 AEST on 29/6/21.

  7. Location - The draw will be held online on Student Beans Australia’s Instagram social media account (Username: studentbeans_au)

  8. The Promoter for this competition is Student Beans, 4 Bloomburg St, Collingwood, Melbourne VIC, Australia 3066

  9. Entry Mechanic - To enter, entrants must like the competition image on Instagram, follow @studentbeans_au on Instagram, and comment tagging someone on Instagram. Each comment with a different tag is another entry.

  10. Type of Prize - The individual prizes will be gift vouchers valued up to $250, consumer goods valued at up to $250, and a cash prize of up to $250.

  11. Winner notification and claiming of the prize - The winner will be notified via Instagram’s direct message, and the winner will need to claim their prize via Instagram direct message.

  12. Condition to claim the prize - The winner is required to respond to the direct message on Instagram and claim the prize within 7 days of the draw winner’s announcement.

  13. Condition to claim the prize - In the event, a winner is unreachable, ineligible, or fails to claim the prize in the time required, the winner shall forfeit their Prize and it will be awarded to the next Participant selected at random in accordance with these terms and conditions.

  14. The Prizes are non-transferable and non-refundable and the winners cannot request any alternative prize.

  15. The winner will be randomly selected.

  16. There will be 40 individual prizes and will hold a total value of $9000. 

  17. Each individual prize will hold a value of up to $250 only.

  18. Anyone prize cannot exceed $250 and the total value of the prizes is capped at $50,000

  19. If the proposed prize money is greater than $2000 the prize winner must be paid the amount exceeding $2000 by a crossed cheque made out to the winner (or by EFT if the winner so requests). The full prize amount can be paid in this manner if desired

  20. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any entries that are incomplete, illegible, corrupted, or fail to reach the Promoter by the relevant closing date for any reason. Entries via agents or third parties are invalid.

  21. The Promoter will use any data submitted by entrants only for the purposes of running the competition unless otherwise stated in the entry details. By entering this competition, all entrants consent to the use of their personal data by the Promoter for the purposes of the administration of this competition and any other purposes to which the entrant has consented.

  22. Participants reserve the right to withdraw their consent to such use of personal information at any time

  23. The Promoter excludes liability, to the fullest extent permitted by law for any loss or damage arising from or in connection with the Prize Draw or with the acceptance or possession of any Prize.

  24. Entry into the Prize Draw signifies acceptance of these terms and conditions.

  25. The Promoter reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions at any time.

  26. This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by or associated with Instagram. You acknowledge that all information and material that you submit to enter this promotion are submitted to the promoter and not Instagram and you agree that Instagram shall not be liable to you in any way in respect of this Promotion.

  27. These terms and conditions are governed in accordance with the laws of Australia

  28. By entering the competition each entrant agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions.
