We're Getting A Bridgerton Spinoff About Queen Charlotte
The Bridgerton-verse is expanding, and in the wise words of Queen Charlotte “I wish to be entertained”.
After the absolutely disastrous news that Regé-Jean Page will not be returning for season 2, I’m so happy that they’ve shared that at least we’ll be getting a spin-off that preserves everything we love about Bridgerton but will also serve us some more drama, tea and gorgeous visuals!
The spin-off is going to be mainly about a younger Queen Charlotte but will also follow the story of a younger Lady Danbury and Lady Violet Bridgeton. If the spin-off is going to be anything like these 3 characters personalities and Shonda Rhimes ability to keep us hooked, I just know it’s going to be entertaining, sassy and full of charisma!
The show hasn’t been given an official title yet (how fun would it be if they had a Twitter contest for it?) but I will be patiently waiting mainly because having one show about one of the Queens of England is just not enough!
