Rupaul's Drag Race Is Finally Coming To Australia
Get ready to celebrate the queen inside you and have a few laughs on the way because RuPaul's Drag Race has confirmed they are coming to Australia and production has already begun!
The global series is calling the Aussie edition RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under, and why has no other show called their Aussie edition that yet? After launching spin-offs in the UK, Thailand, Holland and Spain we’re stoked that Australia can be added to that fabulous list.
Stan who currently streams all the RuPaul’s show released a statement that said RuPaul's Drag Race Down Under will once again see queens serving high fashion realness, mini and maxi challenges, shady and heartfelt moments in the workroom, and of course, the all-important lip-sync for your life battles and we’re counting down the days till we can have a watch-party!
The ocean of tweets from Aussie fans this news unleashed was an absolute treat to read, it had opinions on who should be a guest judge, who should be a contestant and everything in between!
We’re so keen to see who the guest judges are going to be and how this is all going to play out but unfortunately, we’re going to have to wait till later this year to get a taste of RuPaul's Drag Race Down Under. But hey, at least we have 13 seasons of RuPaul’s that we can re-watch till then right?
